Planet RNG Arsenal — Rolling, Dupes, Slots & the Combat HUD

The Arsenal is the weapon collection behind everything else — rolls feed it, slots limit it, and its numbers run the destruction loop.

The counter

One number anchors the whole collection system: the Arsenal counter. Every save we have filmed reads 186/284 in the earliest captures and 187/284 later the same day — the owned count ticks up as rolls land, out of a live total that the official description rounds to '300+' and that weekly updates keep moving. Treat any total as version-stamped; ours carries its read date.

A fresh save in a 7 September stream read the same counter at 9/33, 13/33 and 15/33 within seconds as its first rolls landed — a different denominator from the 186/284 sessions. Both readings are recorded as printed; whether the total is account-scaled or progress-scaled is still open.

Rolling and scans

Rolling is the heart of the game and the controls are disarmingly plain: a 'ROLL - FREE' button bottom-left, a keyboard shortcut (the official art shows the E key prompting 'ROLL!'), and an 'AUTO ROLL: ON' toggle that keeps scans running hands-free. During a scan the panel reads 'SCANNING…' and the result hits the here/global feed with its odds attached.

The RECENT SCANS list keeps the last few outcomes — our read showed three entries tagged DUPE, which is how the game marks repeat drops of weapons you already own.

The scan card above the buttons carries the full result — rate first, then name, then the class tag. Reads from a 7 September stream include '1 in 25 / Plasma Pebble / UNCOMMON — NEW!', '1 in 2 / Small Asteroid / COMMON — DUPLICATE' and '1 in 10 / Solar Explosive Meteor / UNCOMMON — DUPLICATE'. Named classes now print alongside the feed colours (COMMON and UNCOMMON seen so far), 'NEW!' marks a first-time find, and 'DUPLICATE' echoes the DUPE tag from the list below.

The scan card, decoded

Every value below was read from the scan card of one 26-minute community stream (7 Sep 2026). The card prints a rate above the name, and the state line tells you whether the scan is still running or the item just landed.

The Index tab — the catalogue with printed rates

The Index is the game's own catalogue and the best odds source we found: four tabs (Weapons, Planets, Mutations, Materials), and on the Weapons tab every entry carries its printed rate underneath — the visible page alone runs from 1 in 2 (Small Asteroid) through 1 in 400 (Dark Matter Orb), which is where the low-tier rows of the weapon database come from.

The panel also tracks its own completion counter — 'Unlocked: 187/210' in our read — with Collection Rewards at 210 (+65% Luck, +24% Money) and a second threshold whose contents still read as '???'. Three slots on the visible page are locked and marked '??? FORGE ONLY', the clearest confirmation yet that the Forge gates a set of catalogue-only weapons.

Note the two counts: the Index total (210) and the Arsenal counter (284) are different numbers on the same save. We do not yet know what the gap represents — it is logged as an open question rather than glossed over.

Dupes and slots

Dupes are marked, not discarded: a DUPE tag means the roll repeated a weapon already in the collection. The store sells '+1 Weapon Slot' at 199 R$ — one more equipped weapon at a time — so the collection can grow past what a fresh save can field. Auto Equip Best (99 R$) exists for the same reason: as the collection fills with better rolls, manual re-equipping loses to automation.

The combat readouts

Weapons express themselves through three numbers on the main HUD. The biggest is the DPS readout with a BOOSTED tag when buffs are active (we filmed 278.03Qad/dps and 279.35QaD/dps in two sessions). Under it sits a compact line — 'DMG 27.00No • CRIT 99%' in one capture — showing per-hit damage and crit rate. The streak and crit multipliers the official description advertises ('hit streaks and crits') are what push those numbers while a planet is breaking.

ReadoutObserved valueWhat it tracks

DMG27.00NoDamage per hit at that moment
CRIT99%Critical-hit chance
Streak/crit bonusesVisible via the BOOSTED tagShort-term multipliers during a destruction run

Auto-fire and the idle layer

AUTO FIRE toggles between manual clicking and hands-free destruction — our captures show both states ('AUTO FIRE: OFF' during manual play, and sessions where the loop clearly ran itself). Combined with AUTO ROLL, the two toggles are what make the game playable as a check-in session: rolls happen without you, destruction happens without you, and the offline earnings line keeps paying while you are gone.

Building the collection

The practical collection strategy follows the evidence: keep AUTO ROLL running whenever the game is open, bank potions from codes and dailies for session bursts, chase planet multipliers so those sessions pay more, and check the feed's colours — the roll feed prints different rarities in different colours, and the roll odds page decodes the palette we have confirmed so far. The Arsenal's 284 rows fill themselves over time; the multiplier systems decide how fast.

FAQ

Planet RNG Arsenal — Rolling, Dupes, Slots & the Combat HUD FAQ

What does DUPE mean in Planet RNG?

It tags a roll that repeated a weapon already in your collection — visible on the RECENT SCANS list. Nothing is lost; the tag is informational, and duplicate handling (if any) has not shown a disposal mechanic in our footage.

How do I get more weapon slots?

The store sells '+1 Weapon Slot' at 199 R$, and Auto Equip Best at 99 R$ handles the re-equipping as your collection improves. Both are one-time purchases, not rentals.

What is a good DPS in Planet RNG?

There is no fixed answer — DPS scales with the whole multiplier stack (weapons, mutations, rebirths, constellations). The HUD figures we filmed (hundreds of Qad) all carried a BOOSTED tag, so raw unbuffed comparisons need same-session captures the site does not have yet.
