Planet RNG Planets — The Numbered Ladder & Multipliers
Planets are a numbered ladder. Each purchase raises the multiplier your weapons earn against every target.
Updated
The Planets panel mid-ladder: rows 27–33 with multipliers from x6.2 up, AUTO-BUY PLANETS at the top.
The ladder
The Planets panel is a single numbered list. Each row carries a number, a name, an income multiplier and a purchase cost; the row you own shows SELECTED while everything below the unlock line shows a cost button. The early rows follow the solar system (the Moon is confirmed as a starting planet on the Rebirth panel), and past the x6 rows the naming turns cosmic — Galactic Core, Quasar Veil, Chrono Rift through to the late-ladder names below.
Observed rows
These are the rows we have read clearly, with their multipliers exactly as printed. The ladder is longer than this — hundreds of rows exist further out — but every gap here is a row we have not filmed yet, not one we are skipping.

Buying, selecting and destroying
Buying a row costs credits and installs it as a selectable target; selecting it makes it the planet your weapons destroy. Destruction pays credits continuously as damage accumulates — big payouts scroll across the centre of the screen ('THE SILENT CHOIR DESTROYED +1.43No CREDITS' was one read) — and the current planet's multiplier is always visible next to its label, e.g. '(Current Planet: The Unmade) — 11.8x'.
Because the multiplier applies to earnings rather than to damage, the efficient pattern is boring but correct: keep the highest-multiplier planet you own selected, harvest its credits, and buy the next row as soon as the cost is covered.
A destruction payout mid-flow, with the current-planet label and multiplier visible at the bottom.
AUTO-BUY PLANETS
The top of the panel holds an AUTO-BUY PLANETS button. In our footage it renders with a lock icon, and the store separately sells an 'Auto Buy Planets' pass at 80 R$ — the pattern across every auto-buy feature in this game is that the button exists for everyone and the pass unlocks it. With the pass on, buying rows stops being a chore at exactly the point in the ladder where rows start chaining quickly.
Planet levels
Official key art compares a 'LEVEL 1' planet with a 'LEVEL 50' one, showing +1 bonuses around the first and +999 around the second — so planets carry their own level system on top of the ladder multiplier. The in-world upgrade path for planet levels has not been captured in our footage yet; the art is the confirmation that the system exists, and the page will fill in the mechanics when a session shows the level-up screen on camera.
Picking targets in practice
Two targets deserve special note. The Silent Choir (row 46) is a common grind stop — clean x10.0 multiplier, name short enough to read mid-scroll, and it was the current planet during several of our captures. Fathom Zero (row 65) is the furthest row we have read; beyond it the ladder continues but every name is unread, so the table above simply stops rather than speculating.
FAQ
Planet RNG Planets — The Numbered Ladder & Multipliers FAQ
How many planets are in Planet RNG?
More than the 65 numbered rows we have read. The ladder visibly continues past Fathom Zero, and the game is updated weekly — treat the table here as 'rows confirmed so far', with each entry's multiplier as printed on the panel.
What does the planet multiplier do?
It multiplies the credits your weapons earn. The current planet's multiplier is printed next to your target label (for example, 11.8x on The Unmade), and higher rows exist to keep raising that number.
How does AUTO-BUY PLANETS work?
The button sits at the top of the Planets panel and the store sells the matching pass (80 R$). The button showed a lock in our footage, which matches the game's pattern of pass-gated automation, so expect the pass to be required before it runs.
