Planet RNG Luck Guide — Every Source & How They Stack

Luck is the multiplier on every roll you will ever make. These are all the sources, ranked by how easily you can get them.

What luck does

Luck multiplies your effective roll quality. The game surfaces it twice: as a standalone HUD indicator that reads 'LUCK x1.71x BOOSTED' when buffs are active (we have also read x1.16x early and a five-digit value on an endgame save), and implicitly in the results — better rolls, more rare outcomes, higher-value drops for the same roll count. Every source below was observed applying on screen; where the exact stacking math is unclear, we say so.

The free sources (do these today)

Two luck sources cost nothing and never expire. Joining the developer's Roblox group applies a permanent +3 Luck — the game prints 'Join Group for +3 Luck!' on the HUD and confirms it with a 'Thanks for joining! +3 Luck active' banner. A '1 Like' prompt rides along the same message thread, and a second save showed a +2 variant, so the exact free total depends on which bonuses are active in your session.

That is it for free — but those two minutes of setup are worth more than any single potion you will redeem in your first week.

Potions: the spammable layer

2x Luck Potions are the workhorse: codes hand them out in bundles, dailies top them up, and they stack into counts (we filmed a x23 stack). Running one during a roll session roughly doubles the quality roll-over-roll; running one during Meteor Shower compounds the two multipliers in the same window, which is the strongest luck state we have observed.

Events: timing beats farming

Meteor Shower prints '+50% Luck' for its window — free, but on a clock. The rotation countdown (we read 58:00, 55:30 and 37:40 minutes remaining across captures) means the right play is not to wait for it but to schedule around it: bank potions and codes, then convert them during the +50% window so every multiplier lands on the same rolls.

Rebirth and constellations: the permanent layer

Rebirth converts credits into permanent luck multipliers — the panels we read showed jumps like x423.91Qn → x635.87Qn and x953.80Qn → x1.43Sx, with the full multiplier table on the rebirth page. Constellations sit even later: Leviathan alone lists '+6000% luck' permanently. This is why late-game luck values read in the hundreds and thousands where early saves sit at 1.16x — the sources above are the whole difference.

What we could not confirm

The exact stacking maths is the honest gap: whether potion multipliers add or multiply into the display, and how the game rounds the final figure, is not printed anywhere we have filmed. What is confirmed is directional — every source above moved the HUD figure up in the same session it was active — and the roll feed keeps printing real odds, so you can always sanity-check a session against the numbers on the odds page.

FAQ

Planet RNG Luck Guide — Every Source & How They Stack FAQ

How do I get more luck in Planet RNG?

Cheapest first: join the developer group for a free permanent +3, then run Luck Potions during roll sessions — especially during Meteor Shower's +50% window. Rebirths and the Leviathan constellation carry luck into the hundreds as you progress.

Do luck potions stack?

Potions stack as copies (we filmed a x23 Luck Potion count running on one timer), and different sources — potion, event, group bonus — were active simultaneously in our footage without cancelling each other.

Does luck change the odds or just the results?

The feed keeps printing the base odds (1 in 58B, 1 in 2.58T and so on), so luck appears to shift what you actually pull without rewriting the advertised rates. Treat the printed odds as the floor and luck as the improvement.
